Inbound Delivery putaway status "Partially Complete"

Hello everyone.  We have an issue that has happened a number of times an I would like to know if there is a way to fix it.  We will receive an HU in EWM.  The HU is sitting in storage type 9010 which isn't flagged as a final putaway stoarge type.

Somewhere in the process the HU gets misplaced and is written off with a PI document.  Since the HU never made it to a final putaway storage type then the putaway status will stay a partially complete.

Is there a way to complete the putaway status without directly going into tables and changing the status?  Thanks.

Hi Todd,

You can create a virtual bin where put-away can be completed and you can move the HU to that virtual bin in the system. Later on you can carryout PI and write - off. This virtual bin should not be considered for picking or put-away in normal case.

Hi Todd,

Maybe you can try putting away the HU (in the system only since they are missing) then do the PI then.  Also did you try adjustment codes in the inbound delivery and write off qty against the warehouse?
