RSLGSEND process is not running

Hi Experts,

rslgsend process is not running. it is in stopped status,

how to fix the above issue.

Hello Dhrish,

which basis release has the affected system? As of basis release 7.02 you do not need the syslog sender and collector anymore.

If you still need rslgsend, then please check stderr* files in the working directory of the instance, the syslog sender should write entries in one of these files.

Please check the settings for rslg/* parameters, if for the listen and talk port for the syslog sender free ports are used.

Please rename the file rslgsend in work directory and restart it. please also share the log of rslgsend .

You can find this log under usr/sap/SID/DV***/work directory.

I did't not find the logs of rslgsend in Work Directory.

I found se.sapCH1_D12 , but showing below error
