Dear Gurus,
My question is I have 10 materials with dimension 2x2x2, so the volume is 8. My packaging dimension is 5x5x5, so the volume is 125. Currently based on the volume, my packaging can load all materials, but based on the dimension it actually can load only 8 materials. How could I solve this problem to have packing proposal based on dimension instead of only volume?
Thank you very much.
Best regards,

Hi,
You can use total allowed weight per packing material instead of volume. You can assign that in the MMR of packing material.
If you use automatic packing then you can create packing master data (POP1) where you can assign quantity of items allowed per packing material.
I am not sure about assigning dimensions for packing
