Sales order created by referencing a quotation is not displayed in MD04

When we create a sales order for configurable material with strategy 25 without referencing a quotation, requirement is shown in MD04 List. But same sales order if created by referring an existing quotation is not displayed in MD04

Material master settings

Strategy:25

Availability check: 02

MRP Type : PD

Settings for quotation

Requirement type in quotation: KEK

Item Category: AGC

Shchedule line category:BP

Requirement/ Assly : Checked in vov6

Availability: checked in VOV6

Settings for Sales order

Requirement type in Sales order: KEK

Item category: TAC

Schedule line category: CP

Requirement/ Assly : Checked in vov6

Availability: checked in VOV6

We have checked and run SDRQCRR21 program to correct errors if any in database tables. But problem is not solved

Hi Almeida,

We found that problem was due to wrong assignment of Item category and MRP type combination settings for determining shcedule line categories.

We maintained BP for quotation and CP for sales order. Because of which when we create sales order system was copying inquiry number to the production order due to which we were not able to see the sales order in the MD04 List.

Now when we changed the schedule line category of quotation from BP to BN system is passing on Sales order number in the MD04 list which is as per our requirement.
