Can not see Folders in CMC

Hi.

I was setting security in CMC when I encountered a Java error and after that I can not see Folders any more in either CMC or BI Launch pad. I can see all other applications in CMC but Folders are missing now.

PS: I have administrator access.

What was the error you got?

Can you login to CMC from another PC and can you see the folders?

Hi Jawahar,

The other administrator also can not see the folders. The error was a Null Pointer Exception in Java.

Does the configuration of top level folder security also applies to CMC in addition to BI Launch Pad?

I have the administrator group assigned to me, is there another higher level administrator group available in BOBJ?

1. Yes it does apply to both applications.(CMC and LaunchPad)
2. Login with "administrator" user and then verify(not with delegated administrator)
3. Are you a part of any other group besides "administrators"
4. Attach the snapshot of the error

I can see the Folders from "administrator" account. Perhaps, I had accidentally denied access to everyone group.

Also, thanks for letting me know that the security applies to both CMC and Launch Pad.
