Hi,
I have a maintenance order generated from a maintenance plan which has a general task list assigned to it. The maintenance order is generated with tasks in the task list as operation.
How can i prevent the task in the task list from being populated as operations in the order.
The requirement is to have a maintenance order without the task list being exploded as operations.
Hi Robert,
if it's a strategy plan you are using & you want that only certain packages (e.g. the monthly) are without operations coming from task list, then you can insert in the task list operations with only a "blank" and assign them to the maintenance package you want to have without operations (e.g. the monthly one).

Robert,
Only certain plans are allowed to be created without a task list. One example is a single cycle plan.
Others like a strategy plan require a task list to be assigned.
Try creating a single cycle plan w/o task list. It will create an operation with the same text as the order header (you must have at least one active operation in an order).

Hi Robert,
The purpose of the Task list is to provide pre-defined operations / work activities when the plan generates to work orders. This reduce the work for the end users to maintain operation at each intervals. Since this coincides the Preventive Process.
You can remove the task list not to update the operations in work order, but this will affect all process.
Kindly let us know why you are trying to avoid copying the Task
