Hello Experts,
I need to create some Ad Hoq queries for our client. Is it advisable to do this in the PRD system or Dev system and then transport the query?
Also, are the below transactions required to create a Ad Hoq query?
SQ01
SQ02
SQ03
S_PH0_48000513 - Ad Hoq Query
Thanks
Mike

If the queries are connected to transport management, you can transport from DEV.

While saving, if you select Local Objects, while package is being asked, then request will not be asked to generate. If you specify Package, then you will need to create Transport Request. This will be the scenario in development server.
If working in direct PRD, then select Standard Area as your query area. Then without generation and transportation of request, you can directly create the same in PRD / QAS / DEV.

Hi Mike,
It depends on the Query objects being created.
If it is Standard Area then it is not connected to Transport management.
If it is Global Area then it is connected to Transports.
Yes,The above Transactions are necessary for adhoc queries.
Just try checking sap help and all the information is available.
