FIND button in webdynpro

Hi all,

I want to put a find butttion in my webdynpro application, it should work exactly as windows find button  ( cntrl + f )

1. i have created a button and  tried with set focus in the onaction method .

    but it doesnt work, pls give me some idea how can i achieve this?

2. or alternatively is there any function module or method is there which can execute windows short cut  ( cntrl + f )

    i tried with GUI_RUN function module , but it doesnt work

Customer wants to have a specifc buttion for this, and Technically I am also curious if there is any way its possible?

As browser has offered many functions like this, why do you still consider to have custom find option?

I dont think if there is any such option ready available?

Hi Ramanuja,

When the application is running in browser, you can still use browser CTRL+F option which works as normal, why do you need a button in your application?

Could you elaborate in detail on your requirement?
