Dashboard not opening

Hi,

Yesterday only I made one dashboard it was working fine .

But now today when I am trying to open that dashboard it is giving message

"Could not load this file.  It may be corrupt or have features that cannot be supported by this version of Dashboards."

Can some one help. I have only single copy of this!

No I didnt made any changes since then.
No excel file or service is running in back end.

Hi Ayush,

Do you double-click the file to open it. If yes, launch the Dashboard tool first and then go to File-->Open and open the dashboard from the location you have saved it.

This is just a workaround and not a solution. Try it and update the thread.

The only you could recover will be the excel file.

Have you shutdown your system forcefully at that dashpord file may open and that may got corrupted

you made any changes os version

Hi Ayush,

Check in the Task manager if any excel.exe files are running at the backend . Try killing it and check if you are able to open the dashboard.

Confirm if you are able to open  the dashboard on a different machine.

What is the Dashboards and MS Office version you are using?

Have you done any upgrade to the dashboard or are you trying to open the dashboard file from the new version. Once the file is got corrupted you cannot recover it backup. Kindly take the backup of the excel file and design it.
