SAP IDES Installation Oracle database extract to MS SQL Server

Hi gurus:

I have purchased a hard drive with ECC 6 pre-installed...

Here is 2 screen shots attached; plus the specs provided by seller... but I could not find this seller any more and could not get help.  What I need to do is to extract some tables from the Oracle database into a MS SQL Server database instance , to learn some BI stuff plus use the tables for data cleansing on a project I am on right now.   Here are the specs given my seller but I am not sure if this is enough for me to connect to the Oracle database instance with a Client application like Oracle SQL Developer:

  1.      Installation Number 4325654565
  2.   System Number 213432432234234234
  3. A standard SAP system has a number of clients.
  4. In client 000,001,066,800 user SAP* has the pass - 06071992
  5. In 000, 001, 800 user ODIC has pass = 19920706
  6.   user SAPCPIC in client 000 hast the pass ADMIN
  7. EARLYWATCH client 066 === SUPPORT
  8.   ORACLE user SYSTEM= MANAGER
  9.   SYS= 'change_on_install
  10. and SAP CREATED user SAPR3 - SAP
  11. MSSQL user sa has no password

Per screen shots, this ECC instance looks like running in Oracle database; there is a second database ID3 which I don't know why it's there at it looks inactive to start with .

Any help is appreciated and awarded... thanks!

Hi,

Look for the actual Database SID of your installation and delete the inactive one.

You should be good to practice...

Before doing this take snapshot of your existing state of your IDES System.
