Archiving HANA data

Hi All,

Have you ever archived HANA data into other databases? such as Hadoop or Oracle 12c?

Could you share your experiene and the Pros and cons of archiving HANA data into other databases?

Dear Bharath,

Please read the concept of to understand which data needs to be kept in which part of the HANA system.

General benefit of archiving is you can save disk space, backup/recovery  time and less data to search for while running your queries. Please do explain your question for more specific answer.
