Hi,

today I've go ta new error when checking models into the repository:

Some errors occur during the update of the repository model.

Unexpected error while executing the following action:

Changing value of attribute Replicating of object Sub-Replication

The check in of the document has been cancelled.

Google doesn't provide even a single hit when searching for "Changing value of attribute Replicating of object Sub-Replication"

Any ideas what can cause this error ... and maybe how to get more detailed information about this error?

Regards,

Rafal

So ... it did not worked on the next day

But .. after some time, we found out this is most probably a bug. If you switch of the Repository -> Local Cache the error is gone ...

Now a question to the PD gurus. Even if I turn it off, everytime I connect to the repository, the Local Cache gets enabled. Do I have to turn it of somehow on the server, or whay does it happens?

Thanks,

Rafal

Hi,

This problem is known by SAP

When using local cache, after a while you can have problem to check-in models

The repository cache, which is enabled by default, saves a local copy of models you check out in the cache directory, and can speed up check ins and check outs when you are primarily working with models that are rarely modified by other users.

Select Tools > General Options, and click the Repository category in the left pane.

1. Click the Clear Cache button to empty the contents of the cache - The cache file is corrupted ;

2. Keep the check cache enabled ;

3. Be sure your local cache is on your local drive - Not on a network drive.

Can I turn it of somehow on the server : Surely Go to , or whay does it happens?

I have not tried to assign this field specifically, but I did for many others. So the answer is Yes.

Go to to Referential=>Administration=>General Profil setting.

Define a new setting

Assign your new setting to your users.

Bye
