Hi experts,
currently implementing srm7 ehp3 and shown below is the set up for BP groupings and number range.
question is, I have ecc Vendor with code IC1410 which I like to replicate to SRM, but obviously whose number does not fall inside the external number range set (131-1999999).
any possible workaround on this?
on my end, i'm thinking to change the number range on this and include alphanumeric, How to do this in this case?
thanks for your inputs.
Hi ,
I may use a approach, create a table with two fields, number coming from ECC and corresponding number is SRM.
Fill that table when replication happen and use it.
This may be one of approach.
BEst regards,
Rohit

i found out that when a vendor number is assigned to a plant, it will have an SRM BP the same as the SRM BP of the plant assigned to it.

i found out that the root cause why vendor is not getting replicated despite the slg1 entry is due to the plant assignment of the vendor (Intercompany) in vendor master.
is this really the case? meaning i had to remove this assignment first for the vendor replication to push through?
i also had to change the external number range in effect temporarily (from numeric to alphanumeric) so that vendor's R3 number is exactly copied.

Hi all,
thanks for the reply.
i changed the grouping and chose to assign as external (in the radio button above) the one covering the alphanumeric.
the system did allow the transmission via bbpgetvd, with slg1 results below.
however, it's not appearing in VENMAP.
is there anything else I need to double-check?

HI Dex,
You can try Alphanumeric number range.
For eg. AA0001 to ZZ1999999
This will cover 131 and also IC1410.

Anil

Hi
please tell me clearly what are the vendor number ranges for vendors?
for example
1**** to 9**** -0002
you pull the vendor external standard group(*) and all vendor will come.
later you change the config to standard (*) - z110
ICH1410 TO 1CH9***
now all ICH vendor will arrive SRM.
now your 1 series and 1CH series vendors reached SRM
for regular sync write a program using TB001 table logic
Thanks
Muthu
