MIGO: Restrict Good Issue through "Others"

Hi Gurus !

I want to restrict good issuance through "Others" option for some user only.

I have figured out a way by which I can restrict good issuance through "others" for all users in the system.

That is through SPRO >MM>Inventory Management and Physical Inventory>Settings for Enjoy Transactions>Settings for Goods Movements (MIGO)>Settings for Transactions and Reference Documents.

Please suggest a method through which I can restrict this access to specific users.

Hi,

   You may go for authorization concept for the reference document in MIGO as explained in the note: 773003 - MIGO: No authorization object for action/reference document You may check the note and proceed accordingly.

You can't control this Reference Document for MIGO Transaction for a particular user.

You need to control it by movement type using authorization matrix.

But that will allow me to restrict the whole MIGO_GI transaction.

I want to restrict the particular users from issuing goods through "others" option in MIGO_GI.

Please elaborate on how can I do this using authorization matrix ?

I don't think it is possible with any standard settings.

You can remove the Other reference from the Goods Issue from IMG customization but then it will be applicable for all users (the settings is under client level).

You may check flexible development (by using Badi or user exit).
