CMC vs IPS (Data services Config)

Hi All,

I have 2 questions:

1. What are the minimum permissions required for the BO user to be used in Data Services? We have just installed Data services for a client who has been running SAP BO for a while, now they are worried about giving Admin right to the user that will be used in Data Services.

2. If they decide to go for the IPS route, does IPS come with a free license, or do they have to may for the license?

Are we talking about OS user permissions or rights in BI/IPS? If the latter check SAP Data Services Admin Guide, chapter 4 -  User and rights management.
