Item selection Check box is not active in follow up transaction

Hi Guys,

We have a follow up transaction from service contract to service quotation. When we are following service quotation from service contract, we are unable to copy the product as item selection check box is not active.

need a fast solution.

We have done the Copy control for transaction as well as Item category.

Hi,

The item category from source transaction to target transaction type should be allowed. If the item category is not allowed in target document type you will not be allowed to copy that particular item category from preceding document.

For example you can not copy sales items and service items categories into service confirmation from a service order.

I assume that there is some problem with the item categories only, check them once whether source item category you are trying to copy is allowed in your target transaction type.

Can you check  by removing the check mark for Complete Reference in Copy control for transaction types and try creating a follow up document .

HI Hari,

Its only work for 2 to 3 transactions and again m getting same problem.

When M copy from Oppt to Quotation its working but its not working for sales Quotation to Sales order and also for

Sales Agreement -> Sales Contract

Sales Contract-> sales Quotation

And I m Using SAP CRM 7.0 Ehp2

Hi Satya,

Check whether the document that you are currently processing is error free? If not, clear all the errors and then try to create follow up documents.

Also make sure that you have configured all the steps for copy control.
