How to implement Note 1872170 - Suite on HANA memory sizing report

Hi experts,

Recently I tried to implement Note 1872170 - Suite on HANA memory sizing report in both manual and the Snote ways.

The manual way was done successfully.

However, when it comes to using the Snote way, I failed to implement this note.

After reading the prerequisites of this note, I check my system components status.

Notice that the ST-PI is Release 740 with SP-Level 0000, and SAP_BASIS is Release 740 with SP-Level 0008.

According to the prerequisites, I should implement 2 SAP Notes first.

However after I implemented these 2 notes mentioned, the Note 1872170 - Suite on HANA memory sizing report still cannot be implemented.

My system is AS ABAP on MSSQL 2012 Enterprise. Anyone with the idea on how to solve this issue?

Hi Aron,

After checking the notes you have mentioned and testing on my own system, I think that you should go to the ABAP editor and run the program /SDF/HDB_SIZING after you implement the prerequisites note.

I think it is the same program as the ZNEWHDB_SIZE report you created, and it may be just two methods.
