Crystal reports for visual studio 2013 not Rendering.

I have installed the new version of crystal reports for visual studio 2013 developer (service pack 10 v.13.0.10.1385) and created a new report in my existing project. All other existing reports are developed with older version of CRs (CR for vs2010 v. 13.0.7.1136).

We even are providing CR runtime, v. 13.0.7.1136, in the setup project.

Can anyone guide me how to work with CRs those developed with VS2013 but should be targetted to older runtime, mean developed with VS2010.

Hi Manoj,

It is the same version of CR which works with VS 2010 / VS 2012 / VS 2013 just the service pack level differs.

You could use CR for VS (13.0) SP 12 with VS 2010 and VS 2013 as well.

Install SP 12 on top of VS 2010 and VS 2013 as well so there will be no difference in runtime.

Appreciate your quick reply. Thanks.

As this is the only new report developed in VS2013, team is not interested in changing the setup. I have opened the report with SAP CR 2008 Developer and save the report with those settings and deployed the report. It works fine as of now.

Would like to know that will there be any problem in future.
