Adding field of description for defect recording during Mail Triggering

Hi Gurus,

I have one issue as client is creating defect recording from T code QF01.

But when he is selecting the code group Miscellaneous code and giving the details of the defect in description column.

During Mail triggering we are getting

Details like:-

Defect Nos

Code Group

Code

Defect Type

Defect Code Text

Description (Field needs to be added)

So kindly refer me is there any step in configuration so that this field (Description) can be added in defect mail notification.

Hello,

Functionally it is not possible as this one is the stdn SAP format for mail triggering, if you need to add any fields and related description then you need to take technical help and accordingly change the mail formats.

Hello,

I dn't know exactly what user exit is there to add some fields in mail format but if you ask ABAPr they will made the changes easily. Sorry about the exit name .

An which second query you talking about.

As our Technical team has used Functional Module Z_QM_SEND_DEFECT_NOTIFICATION

So the issue is resolved and I am closing this thread.
