SPL-Transaction /SAPSLL/SPL_CHSS3 "Check General Address"

When screening on the name and country, GTS SPL should respond with consistent results. Sometimes, the name & country query will respond with a blocked status and other times, name and country will return with a "passed" status.

Should not the results be consistent at all times?  If not, please explain.

Hi Andrews,

Ideally this should not happen until the related settings are changed in the system in the time between two checks. Please check if someone else touched upon those settings

Aman and Vincent,

Thank you for your reply, but could you please talk a little bit more about "until the related settings are changed in the system".   What related settings?

Our GTS imlementation is still on-going as it has been a "phased" approach and things are being touched every day.   I need to understand what the related settings may be so that we are being cognizant about what the impact could be.

Thank You.

Hi Andrews,

The area or scope of such changes is vast. It may be something where matching rate is changed or address combination logic is changed. It may also be something where new and updated SPL files are put into the system. It may also be a situation where an existing partner is released in first instance and then get blocked again after fresh screening. Likewise, factors are many and it requires thorough understanding of the issue from system perspective. It will be great if you can suitably check the SPL screening results of that blocked address and explore with the same data into the system settings ,when it doesn't blocks the same address next time.

Hope this will help you out.

Regards,

Aman

Hi,

Normally this should not happen: result ( block or pass ) will not change no matter how many times you screen.

Best regards,

Vincent
