What kind of specifications are associated during the implementation of HSM?  for example you have an agent? What is HAZ_MAT used for and how are these spec types related? I understand product safety in which the hierarchy is listed => pure=> real. what is the hierarchy in HSM? Thanks in advance.

Dear Tom

topic is not asked often. E.g. check: http://scn.sap.com/thread/3379343

Specification catagory  HAZ_MAT, CBIH92 | ABAP, SAP,&am...

May be could be of interest too

Check ma ybe transactions:

VM01, VM02, VM03

As you have mentioned. HAZ_MAT is related to "AGENT". AGENT can be "anything"

Check e.g. Agent - Industrial Hygiene and Safety (EHS-IHS) - SAP Library

or https://www.consolut.com/en/s/sap-ides-access/d/s/doc/YY-EHS_MD_110_05_1

We are not using HAZ_MAT. In real life I would assume that you don't need a "hierarchy" like for LIST_SUB etc.; If you check the definition of "AGENT".. How could you define "noise"???

So may be someone different can give more insight on that topic. Sorry.
