IDOC_INBOUND_ASYNCHRONOUS error in an outbound IDoc

Hello Experts,

I have been working on integrating our SAP ECC system to SAP ME via SAP MII All essential settings for IDoc transmission are in place.

When we send the IDoc for mater data (say material master), the IDoc is shown as successful as seen in WE05. But it never reaches the destination system.

When checked in SM58, we get to see the message "Function IDOC_INBOUND_ASYNCHRONOUS not found".

What could be reason for this and how to solve it?

Hello Mani,

I had checked this with by Basis colleague and was told that host file entry was wrong in OS level where ECC is installed. They had taken corrective measure for the same but I do not have complete detail of the same.

May be helpful to you if you can check with your Basis colleague once?
