SPM data source generation fails

Hi gurus

I cannot generate the PAYMENT data source with transaction Z_SA_DEPD. The error I get is Message no. Z_SA_MD115.

Any ideas on where to look for the problem?

SAP Note 1849374 - Error generating Read Module does not seem to be relevant here.

Hi Helena,

Please try this and see if it works:

1. Go to Table key relation of payment data source object
2. Click on Define field generation
3. Add the following entry in the field list:
   WAERS|BSAK|WAERS
4. SAVE
5. Generate Read module
6. Generate Data source

Other areas to check

• If data source generation is failing please check using
  SU53 transaction if there is any authorization failure.
• If data source function module generation fails then delete
  it from se37 and regenerate it back.

Thanks a lot for the assistance. By adding WAERS the data source was able to generate.
