Y and Z table size

Dear Experts team ,

I want to know how many Y and Z tables has been created in SAP and Whats their size &  table and growth rates

Hi,

Just to know the table names you can execute transaction SE16

give z* and press F4. You'll see below message and names of z tables

Then on the same screen, select "New Selection"

Increase the value from 200 to a value where you don't get the message and click on execute.

In this way you can get Z or Y tables name.

Now second is their size and growth.

if you have older version execute transaction db02old

click Space Statistics -> select z* -> Ok

you'll get tablesize and growth.

For new systems, just go to DB02 -> Space -> Tables

Give z* and change the #hits to the value by now you know. and you will get table size and growth.

Dear Ahmad,

We have ECC 6.0 , When we are using db02

    

In this no any option.

When I am doing  db02old

Space Statistics

here also  not able to see all Z table with current size.

Hello Ahmad,
In the old view, we have the option to choose "Tables/Indexes"  as well.

Space Statistics > Tables/Indexes > Tablespaces
