Which report is considered in "Log Report Execution Notification"

Hi all,

Could you say, which report is considered for the parameters 4009 (Log Report Execution Notification) and 4007 (Send Log Report Execution Notification Immediately)

in some article it is mentioned," If the Send Log Report Execution Notification Immediately is set to No, the Firefighter Log Report Notification is sent depending on the frequency (Hourly/ Daily / Weekly) of the corresponding background job. ". This means, there is a different Log report, other than generated by program/job GRAC_SPM_LOG_SYNC_UPDATE. please clarify.

please see the configuration settings:

The application can send log reports to controllers. The application sends the notifications as e-mails or workflow items based on the configuration of the controllers:

• Set the value to YES and the application sends notifications when the user chooses the Update Firefighter Log button or runs the program GRAC_SPM_LOG_SYNC_UPDATE. The Update Firefighter Log button is available on the Consolidated Log Report under Emergency Access Management Reports.
• Set the value to NO and the application only collects the logs when the user chooses the Update Firefighter Log button or runs the GRAC_SPM_LOG_SYNC_UPDATE program. The application sends the e-mail notifications when the GRAC_SPM_WORKFLOW_SYNC program is run.

hi Alessandro,

let me simply this.

GRAC_SPM_LOG_SYNC_UPDATE is scheduled on a hourly basis(So, log is updated hourly). Also, 4007 and 4009 are set to YES. So, this means Log report is sent on a hourly basis(as we have restricted execution of 'Update Firefighter Log button'.)

exactly - otherwise you have to schedule the program GRAC_SPM_WORKFLOW_SYNC to send out the workflows. Recommend is as you have configured so that the controller receives the logs straight after sync.
