Hi,
We are implemeting SAP sourcing as below:
1. Public Zone: Reverse Proxy server (Web Dispatcher)
2. Presentation Zone: Load Balancer (Web Dispatcher), Sourcing App Servers for Suppliers, Portal for Suppliers (with link to SAP Sourcing)
3. Intranet Zone: Load Balancer (Web Dispatcher), Sourcing App Servers for Buyers and Sourcing DB
Currently, without the reverse proxy configuration, suppliers are sent out an email to access Sourcing documents.
http://supplierportal.domain.com:53000/irj/portal/Strategic-Sourcing?NavMode=3&;sourcingURL=http%3A%2F%2Fsourcingappserver.domain.com%3A55000%2Fsourcing%2Ffsbuyer%2Fcontracts%2Fcontracts_summary%2C-1048575999%3A1004%3Frqaction%3Dload%26hook%3Dcontract_uirq%26page%3Dcontractdocuments%26allow_redirect%3Dtrue
This URL needs to be hidden behind a reverse proxy configuration. The first part, i.e. supplierportal.domain.com can be easily hidden by something like reverseproxy.domain.com/portal/sourcing. However, I am told that sourcingURL parameter can't be changed to point to a reverse proxy server. The SourcingURL is built automatically by the system and it takes this first part from the hostname in the cluster.
If true, this defeats the purpose of putting in place a reverse proxy if we can't hide internal URLs. Can someone please advise if it is possible to change the sourcingURL parameter to point to include the name of reverse proxy server rather than the sourcingappserver?
Thanks and regards,
Shehryar
