Hi Mandar,

With this field you can control if the requirement will be seen or not for planning (e.g.: in MD04) and if will be considered for planning (e.g.: during the MRP run).

Requirements record not relevant to MRP

This indicator determines whether customer requirements are relevant for the
planning run, that is, whether they are included in the net requirements
calculation:

  • customer requirements are relevant to the planning run
  • customer requirements are not relevant to the planning run, but are displayed
  • customer requirements are not relevant to the planning run and are not displayed

For example,

  • in the strategy 40, the customer requirement play a key role, then the fiel No MRP = Requirements planned.
  • in the strategy 10, the customer requirements are not relevant.. because you consider the good issue.. so the field No MRP = Requirement not planned, but displayed.

Hi Mandar,

No. No MRP field control is the relevancy for planning.

The PIR consumption is controller with the Allocation indicator:

Allocation Indicator

Controls the consumption of customer requirements with planned independent
requirements whereby the customer requirements type is only allocated one
consumption strategy.

Mandar,

Yes indirectly they effect PIR consumption too.

Example in Strategy 40 in Standard this indicator set as Requirement planned where PIR consumed with sales order based on consumption parameters.

Hello All,

Thanks for reply. I undertstand that they will not be planned. Planned order will not be created

but does this impact the Consumption of PIR ? If yes how ?

Hi,

it depends on the stratedy gain, in strategy 40 consumption of Pir will takes place based on the consumption mode defined in the material master.

For strategy 20 consumption of PIR's will take takes place even thougn if it is requirement planning.

for strategy 10 consumption of pir's takes place after delivery and in 11 after good receipt.

it will control requirements planning are not.

mailny depends on the strategy you are using.

Mandar,

These settings are relevant for MD04 display and MRP Planning for sales order.

Requirement Planned:Requirements displayed in MD04 and Considered for planning.

Requirement not planned, but displayed:Requirement are displayed in MD04 but not Planned in MRP.

Requirements neither planned or displayed:In this case neither requirements displayed nor they Planned in MRP.

Hi,

to my understanding

for example you have an sales order if it is Requirement planned then sales order will get planned and generate planned orders.this you can see in strategy 20, 40 etc.

requirements not planned but displayed, in MD04 requirements will be displayed but it will not plan no planned orders get generate.Strategy 10, 11 etc.

requirments neither planned or displayed will not display in MD04 and not plan.

Ravi
