We want to capture employee efforts (man-hours) against particular job/ activity. Since such particular job/ activity is not a part of any project, we think of creating a dummy project in SAP, link activities to that project and then ask employees to fill their time-sheets against that particular project/ activity.
Further to this, there will be no Customer for such project, no value, and no budgets. Purely speaking, it is only for the purpose of man-hour booking.
Please guide as whether this is feasible/ possible in SAP or not and if yes, then how to achieve this?
With regards,
Mukund Gandhi
Hi Mukund,
This is possible and completely standard. Just use a zero activity price in KP26, but maintain something else like Planned quantity or Capacity for the system to recognize the record.

Hi Mukund,
In standard SAP you can, talking about your system in particular I have no idea how heavily that is customized to accept only customer specific projects (maybe you have a mandatory customer field somewhere). In that case just create a dummy customer record if that is the case.
