Profit Margin Threshold

My client requirement is while creating sales order system should check the profit margin, if the profit margin is less than 60% then system should give error message. Can you give the logic for this o that i can prepare FS document.

Hi Sagar,

As you are the SD consultant you have to give the logic. All you can exepect in this forum is getting sugesstions for  the possible ways to fulfill the requirement.

Use custom routine or the userexit_save_document where you can ask the Abaper to inclued the logic in that enhancement spot as per the business requirement.

Hi Sagar,

You need an alternative calculation type formula in your pricing. Check out a standard SAP formula 005 (FV64A005) which issues a message if the margin is negative (below 0%). Copy this routine and adjust to your needs so that the message is issued if the margin is below 60%.
