Set System Alias in ESS MENU Launchpad app dynamically based on ESS portal role

Hello,

In our landscape we have a number of ECC clients for each of our development, QA and Production environments.

We did not create a copy of the ESS/MENU launchpad role for each client, in the portal though we have a separate role for each client and there we have configured the System Alias in the iView which calls the Launchpad application HRESS_A_MENU.

Is it possible that the System Alias for each application within the ESS/MENU launchpad role in ECC (thru txn LPD_CUST), be set to pick up the System Alias dynamically instead of having to hard code it there.

e.g. If I launch my portal role for lets say client 100 of ECC system GWD, i will be having this system configured in the portal role, is it possible that the System alias in the launchpad role in ecc system be set to pick this alias dynamically so that I can use one instance of ESS/MENU instance of launchpad role for all clients in a given environment.

I managed to achieve the solution by enhancing the class CL_HRESS_LPD_MENU.
