File name to Target Structure through EDI Seperator

Hello Experts

we have a requirement to send the file name of EDI file which is being picked by File Adapter and then transfer to EDI Seperator and then to Target system with File adapter again.

Can some one please let me know how can i send the file name of source file in a field of target structure and the possibilities to acheive this scenario.

Here we cant change the EDI Seperator as there are two different formats will come in source location and EDI Seperator will route to the respective format reciever.

As per the below blog, dynamic headers will be passed to second ICo.

So did you try just enabling ASMA in your file sender and receiver?

Routing of Dynamic headers

All the present dynamic headers (except set by SAP EDI and TPM modules) will be routed to next ICOs after message processing by EDI Seperator Receiver channel. Example: If you have filename as dynamic header set by AS2 or SFTP adapter in first ICO's XI message, these dynamic headers will be passed to next ICO (XI Message) along with splitted/routed messages.

We did that enabling ASMA, but no luck.

Is it something we are using FTP adapter as sender not the AS2 or SFTP,

May be check your SP level. It could be that it's applicable for > sp04
