Asset revaluation - Issue with parellel depreciation ares in Foriegn currency

Hi,

We have  requirement to do revaluation of assets for Paraguay coutry . I have three depreciation area .

01 Book depreciation

10 Group currency

15 Historical values

I have completed all the settings for index manaitenence , TBE , revaluatiion key etc. Revaluation will be posted in 01 depreciation area .

I am trying to post through T code J1AI . It is  showing the revalutaion amount when I am running j1AI in test run.

It creates a session .In sm35 when I am executing I am getting following error :

Parallel depreciation area 10 is not posted

Message no. AA565

Diagnosis

The asset to be posted does not manage parallel depreciation area 10, or transaction type  that you are using is limited to certain depreciation areas, and does not contain depreciation area 10. This is incorrect.

I   activated all the asset classes & both depreciation area 01 & 10  are active. Parallel currency depreciation area settings have been checked.

Transaction type 820 allows both dep area 01 & 10.

Is it necessary I need to run J1Ai before deprecition run . Do I need to assign revaluation key in asset master record for both 01 & 10 depreciation area ?

I have tried everything but the above message is not going .

Please revert back ASAP.

Hi Sunaina,

Go to OADB and check the revalorisation option for Area 10 .
