How to maintain (it0040) objects on loan

It seems that you can only manage the type of object on loan through the IMG path (t-code spro) :

Personnel Management > Personnel Administration > Contractual and Corporate Agreements > Objects on Loan > Define objects on loan

To add an other type of Unit, perhaps you should ask an ABAP resource to create a Custom one.

If you are techno functional consultant then you can add measurement units in table Q0040 or you can take help from ABAP guy to add this field.

if you want to add new column go for info type enhancement through PM01 abaper will help regarding this.

Object on loan sub types are

01	Key(s)
02	Clothing
03	Books
04	Tool(s)
05	Company ID

And these are counted in Pieces only and this is SAP Standard.

can you specify what you want to another unit type ? and what is the Object ?
