How not to create planned order and production order

Hi Gurus,

Here is the situation, if I set the material as a Phantom it does not create planned order for it but creates for its BOM items. This is the thing I need but if I define the mat. as phantom then in project system it can not be added to the network activity. So the problem is to add the material to network activity but it should not create any planned order for it but create planned order for its child items. SO, what configuration will make it possible that the material is not a phantom still not creating any planned order for it but will create planned order for BOM items.

Hi,

I think remove special procuremnt type in the material master level and control in the BOM level

in the bom assign special procuremnt 50 and also you can switch off and switch on in the BOM level.

Please explore the Phantom option in BOM.

Also if you give the details requirement, we can suggest exact solution.
