Adding a new field (Column) in sales order sales Tab

Dear All,

My requirement is to create a new Z-field(Old material number, it is a column name just beside quantity column) in sales order "sales tab" screen and the data has to fetch in to this field from Material master->Sales Org1-> Old Material Number field.  when i enter the material in sales order, i should get Old material number maintained in Material master data. Please suggest me what could be the best approach to full fill this requirment.

If you want to insert a zee field in sale order, many discussions have taken place and all you have to do is to search SCN or Google it so that you will get many inputs from there.

To fetch the old material number from material master to sale order, try with USEREXIT_MOVE_FIELD_TO_VBAP in the program MV45AFZZ
