What is the max and min size of Web Service (WSDL on Webi)

Hi Experts,

I am using WSDL as data source in dashboard. But the Web Service is not getting created for large sizes of blocks. Is there any limitation as to No. of blocks published in one Web Service. and the max/min size of Web Service. Where can we make settings to define/increase sizes.

Is it to do with following parameters of dsws.properties

maximumChunkSize

maximumUploadFileSize

numChunksPerSDKChunk

1964817 - How To: Increase the maximum memory allowed for a Web Intelligence Processing Server in BI...

The maximum threshold is a value which may reach on peak usage and Webi processing server cannot occupy memory beyond this value at any time.

In your situation 9 Webi Processing servers with 16 GB of RAM on server is not recommended. This is because consider situation with total 16 GB of host RAM.

1. 4 GB should left for OS
2. Tomcat will need minimum 2 GB for 200 users
3. So you are left with 10 GB RAM for all BO services
4. Now 9 Webi Processing servers with 6 GB of Threshhost will not work here

For this configuration you can have 2 Webi Processing servers with default threshold should be running on single host.

But i am concerned in particular about the Max Block size that can be published in web service.

Server sizing might have to do with that, but m not sure.
