SAP DMS - replace MAXDB with HANA ?

Gurus...

Today we are running SAP MAXDB on our document content  servers...with SEAL conversion.

Can we replace MAXDB with HANA ?

(We have now decided to go for HANA on SAP ERP)

We're in a similar situation. Our content server (MaxDB) is around 7TB while S4/hana is 2TB.

Can we do away with Maxdb and store everything in hana?

Hello Erik,

SAP Content Server is not supported on HANA DB or any other DB. You can see the details in

Hi Erik Hoven,

Content server can be integrated with ECC system but not based on with DB(ERP) . Please go with your plan with HANA  for ERP .

Exclusively Content server designed with MaxDB so that third party tools may not help you regarding DB migration.
