BI 4.1 Installation on two windows server and then cluster them. How to approach?

Please share the steps (or) any SAP doc

should both server have tomcat (or) only server1 should have tomcat

Hi Ram,

4.1 installation can be done on two systems.

While installing the second node, you can point it to the CMS db of the 1st node. This will cluster it.

For more details on clustering, kindly check the administrator guide available at

Also, both servers can have tomcat. This will help in balancing.

Sorry Cluster Configuration is not clear in the given links. can anyone explain it will steps.
