Upgrade from R/3 46C to ERP6 EHP7 PARDIST_SHD Error

Hi All.

I have implemented the upgrade of the following.

   Upgrade Sorce:SAP R/3 46C

   Upgrade Target:ERP6 EHP7

   Use SUMversion:SUM10 SP11 Pach9

Phase MAIN_SHDRUN / PARDIST_SHD, error is displayed.

===== Error Message =====

4 EDA424 "Unidentifiable object" "RFCKEYSS" with deletion request (mode flag "D")

4 EDA431 A table called "RFCKEYSS" exists in the database

2EEDA300 No active nametab exists for "RFCKEYSS"

2EEDA432 Termination due to inconsistencies

2EEDA471 Result "RFCKEYSS": Action: "DNA" Mode flag: "R" Return code: "9"

===== Error Message =====

Have been carried out steps in the solutions Note1796238, 'Delete database table' for button is not enabled, can not be performed.

SupportPackage&Paches SAPKB46C66 that are described in the Note1792184 is can't be downloaded.

Because of this failure, I'm in trouble can not upgrade.

I want help.

Hi, All

Thank you for the answer.

I was carried out an inquiry to the OSS.

OSS said with a deletion in the Database Level.

>DROP TABLE RFCKEYSS

In the state that started the SAP, was carried out to remove the command from Management Studio.

Then, normally SUM was resumed processing.

However, Phase PARDIST_SHD2 to get same error, is perform the same procedure again was necessary.

Hi Jun,

Drop the table RFCKEYSS. To do this, logon to the original system, run the database utility (transaction se14) and use the button 'Delete database table'.
After that, repeat the phase PARDIST_SHD.

With SUM 1.0 SP 7 and higher, the table is dropped directly before phase PARDIST_SHD. If the error appears again, manual action is necessary.

This is what the notes says to do.

Yes.

I tried to push the "Delete database table" button of RFCKEYSS from SE14.

But, "Delete database tabele" button has not been enabled, the button was not pressed.

Then, it was Repeat the SUM, was to get the same error.

You can delete the table in Database level.

Which database your using?

Hi,

There is the following description in Note573858, delete a table in Database Level is not performed.

By the way, the version of the OS and DB are as follows.

OS: Windows 2008 R2 SP1

DB: MSSQL2008 R2 SP3

I would check whether the table RFCKEYSS is empty at the DB level and if yes I would drop it and repeat the phase in SUM. if that doesn't help then check with SAP and I believe the possible solution would be to modify the MODEFLAG value of the table DDXTT or delete the entry for RFCKEYSS from the table DDXTT.

Personally, I would try them and see the outcome if this is not a production system.
