Error message is there but still Data is getting saved.

Hi All,

I have copied the Feeder class CL_HRPAO_GUIBB_PA_DETAILS into Z class and have added custom error message in method GET_DATE() with severity 'E'. But when the user clicks on 'SAVE' button, the error message is getting displayed but the Data is getting saved and message Data Saved is coming. Do I have to do anythg else other than setting the severity as 'E'
