Can product be made a mandatory entry for Campaign Creation

Hi Experts,

Is it possible to make mandatory the entry of product while creating a campaign through configurations ?

If so please provide the necessary guidance.

hi Arunava,

Actually fields are coming from BSPs and thus I would suggest to use AET to do this.

Hi Arunava,

This can be achieved through BADI : CRM_MKTPL_OL_OBJ

It has method called CHECK_BEFORE_SAVE can be used to validate the campaign.

Fetch the Tech details of the product field and make it mandatory in bsp_wd_cmpwb.

Are you facing any problem?

No we are not facing issues. We wanted to make the product entry for the campaign mandatory as per requirement scope.

I was aware that this can be achieved through configurations instead of BADI enhancement. wanted to cross check.

Hi Hari,

The product that we are entering for the campaign is in the Product assignment block. It is entered as a line item. Through bsp_wd_cmpwb can this be achieved?

I couldn't test it till now since there are some issues that are hindering us to view the Web UI. Thought of discussing once with you before proceeding once I am able to view the Web UI.
