LiveCache is necessary for SAP SPP?

Hi All,

When I am creating version in SAP SCM 7.0, i received information - " liveCache  is not available". Can I make continue my configuration without liveCache or it is must  for SAP SPP.

Hello Hemant,

Live cache is nothing but a database used in APO system. All your transactional data resides in the Live cache. As I guess, Livecache is mandatory for APO system.

To run the APO functionality on SCM system you need the liveCache server installed & configured.
