Report Definition with CR for VS

I am working with Crystal Reports from Visual Studios 2012. Is there a way to generate the Report Definition export file?

If you'd like some C# sample code for doing this I have some on my website:  http://www.dellstinnett.com/sample_code.html.  Look for "Code for Crystal Documenter Application".  This was done in an earlier version of Visual Studio and the Crystal SDK, but it should be fairly easy to upgrade.

No, just C#.  However, it shouldn't be too difficult for you to translate it into VB.

Not currently, only available in the full Designer. Search Idea Place, I'm sure it's there, and vote it up.

I have tried searching on SCN and Google for SAP Idea Place. All the links I find and click on I get This Webpage is not available screen.

Hi Russell,

From SCN click on Innovations and then Idea Place, your URL is correct:

Try Logging on first... if that doesn't work then clear your cache and close your browser and try again.

And try this link to get you to the request:
