Hi,
It makes no difference.
A data flow will initiate one al_engine process then one thread per dataflow object, so whether the dataflows are in a workflow or on their own, won't make any performance improvement.
It's better to use a work flow to help you better orgnise you dataflows and defines the execution path/decision-making process.
