“Dashboard 4.1 SP1 keycode invalid – After Installation” ?

Hello,

We have installed Dashboard 4.1 SP1 successfully. while installation we received Error    : INS00140 error key license key does not work.

Refering NOTE 1686448Renamed  IsKeyCodeValid.exe to IsKeyCodeValid.old and attached the newIsKeyCodeValid.exe to the same location.

And the installation completed without any error.

Now while trying to start the dashboard , Start >> All Programs >> SAP Business Intelligence >> SAP BO Dashboards 4 >>

we are getting a popup asking for keycode .

we tried giving the same product key given during the installation, unfortunately it says not valid.

The keycode you entered is not valid. Please Try again

Please suggest if the product key is same as this keycode or this is a different key. If different please suggest how to get it ?

The Key code what you have might be expired, please check with the admin team to get the latest key code.

I purchased a new one and it works great .

hi

right click the dashboards icon and select run as administrator. then apply the keycode when prompted. check if the problem persists.

make sure you have the right keycode for the right product.
