Fiori Launchpad issue

Hi All,

I installed and set up my Fiori system. But last time when i changed the system date in the fiori front end server, the launch pad for the fiori is not getting throughing an error,


This webpage is not available

Error code: ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED


But i can access both front end and back end system using sap Gui Logon. But the launchpad URL is not getting.

Please help me to rectify the issue.

Hi Visakh,

I think it is just browser cache issue. Please clear the browser cache.

Hi Masa,

I cleared the browser cache still not getting. I installed front end server and back end in a 2 separate system, But when after i restart the front end server issue occurred. 

So please help to solve this issue.

I think it is not related with system date.

What is the error on http level?

Hi Masa,

Ya you are correct, issue is not related to system date. The problem is when i change the front end server system date i couldn't log in the system. So i restart the front end server, after that i can access both front end and back end, But the fiori launchpad couldn't open.....Showing the error

Hi Visakh,

It looks like just network issue.

Please goto the transaction SICF and activate the ping service and test it.

http: //<server>.<domain>:<port>/sap/public/ping

Hi Masa,

Thank you for the replay..... I check service in SICF, But still that service is active foam. I went and deactivate the service and then again activated the service but still that issue is exist.

The issue is occurred once i restarted the fiori front end system.

So please help to solve the issue

Hi Visakh,

What was the test result for http: //<server>.<domain>:<port>/sap/public/ping ?

I say it is not launchpad issue. It is some network issue.

Hi Visakh,

I see the port number is wrong.

I guess someone has changed port number in the system profile and the change is valid by restarting the server.

It is not launchpad issue. It is system setup issue.

Hi all,

My problem on fiori launchpad is, while the front end server is restart the service port is changed automatically to "0". So that the launchpad is not getting. Solution is to run the transaction SMICM (ICM Monitor of server ) -> service, Select the service. In the service menu Service select change and given the proper service port for the application.

Please go through the attached screen shot also
