OM Structure

Dear Team,

We are in process of sap hcm implementation,

We would like to know about the OM structure: - we created the OM structure in sand box & then move in development server for testing purpose.

Can we again create the entire structure in Quality for testing purpose & finally create again in production server.

Please suggest how to best way implement in OM & how the OM structure move / create in other server.

Hi Rakesh,

You can move ORG Strcucture DEV to QTY and PRD, Complete Org structure you can save in TR, for that first you need to put active integration swith for TR, Please check below process

Goto SM30 -> T77S0 ->  TRSP CORR ->Remove X ,Then system will ask TR when you are creating org structures.

Master data you can upload through LSMW or BDC

Suppose we have created the entire organisation in development server & Hire the employees for testing purpose.

While moving from one server to other server how to stop the testing PA data & other data?

please suggest!

You have two options:

1. Create all Org Objects and save it in one request in Development Client, transport them to the desired client.

2. Create Org Objects in each client separately.

Either of the two can be achieved.

You cannot transfer PA data in transport request. PA data is foreign for OM.

You can use RE_RHMOVE30 to transport the structure of an organization where you can select the object type and ID so that selected ID's only will get moved to other server.

Master data can't be moved into one server to another server.

Dear Rakesh,

You may create entire org structure in different client by LSMW or BDC but that thing is that if you have to save the time in that case you will have to go with TR creation.

You can maintain entire structure in EXCEL sheet and upload by LSMW.

yes, you can transport entire structure

There are three or even more ways:

1. LSMW

2. RE_RHMOVE30 - collect OM structure object in transport request.

3. PFAL - iDOC transportation.

Hi Rakesh ,

You have to save all org structure in transport request than with help of basis team transport request should be moved from sandbox to dev , dev to quallity and quality to prod systems.

No need create again each system.
