User default for template request

Hello ,

We have configured default roles for default EUP 999 and also for other customized template request as below.Screenshot attached.

In NWBC we have maintained same for attribute system level. So when ever request is raised for these system default role automatically pops up in request which is Perfect.

But for default EHP - 999 we have maintained account type as New and Change account. Hence based on Parameter 2010 setting 001default is coming only for new account request.

Where as for other template request default we don't have such setting hence default roles is coming for the all the requests even for new and change. Hence Users will be assigned duplicate of default role for every request. Please advise how can we over come this.

Hi Abhi,

I don't get your question. You have configured that default roles are added for two request types (001 and 124). 001 seems to be New User, what is 124?

Please be aware that the template you use has no direct input on default roles. It depends on the settings and the matches. If you have dedicated templates for new user (request type 001) then it matches but this is based on your definition.

Also please be aware that if any information is missing it gets taken from EUP999. So in case someone raises a request without the request type and in EUP999 you have defaulted for 001, then always new account will be chosen. Hence in all requests you have 001 which adds then default roles. This might be your problem?

Let us know in more detail and try to give also some hints with screen shots if unclear.

Thank you, your answers will be always helpful.Let me make this little clear.

Yes, 001 is new account and 124 is external request.

To be more clear.

Workflow 1 - EUP - 999 - Request type 001 and 002 - Hence default roles pops up only for 001 account type which is defined in SPRO as 001.

Workflow 2 -  EUP - 101 - Request type 124. Default roles pops in every request because we have defined parameter 2010 as 124 along with 001.

Workflow 3 - EUP - 102 - Request 124. Default role pops up in every request because we have defined parameter 2010 as 124 along with 001.

So here workflow 1 is working perfect because default roles selects only for new account. Were as for EUP 101 and 102 default role picks for every request. This needs to be restricted.

Even for template request we need default roles only for new account. Could you please suggest me.

Hi Alessandro,

We are on SP level 14.Audit log says its provisioned successfully because its not the problem with setup buts its with Workflow which we need to customize.

Here in BRF+  001 and 002 are mapped to EUP 999 we are able to pop up default roles only in request 001 (which is maintained in parameter 2010) of EUP 999 but for 124 (External request) we don't have such option which is unique also maintained 124 in parameter 2010 hence default roles are coming in every external request.

Here we need to create any rule such that in external request default roles should come only for new account not for change account.
