Quota used shown in ESS got doubled

Hi,

I got the following issue and would like to see if I can get any insight to solve the problem from all the experts here.

I have a user who created the following leave request in ESS and submitted to the approver for approval

From             To

16/02/2015     18/02/2015

29/12/2014     31/12/2014

When the approver login and try to approve the above leave in ESS it shows that both leave period are utilizing 6 days which is obvious incorrect.

From             To                  Used

16/02/2015     18/02/2015     6 days

29/12/2014     31/12/2014     6 days

However, when the approver logoff and login ESS again, the shows the correct no. of days used as 3 for both leave period.

Any ideas what will be the root cause of this problem and how such problem can be prevented in future.

Here're the images. The no. of days used were shown as 6 Days for both entries

After the user logout and loin again, the no. of days used were correctly shown as 3 days for both entries.
