Hi Experts!
I have a problem with one of my accounts.
Apparently, when the user is performing End-of-Month Inventory Posting transaction in Inventory->Inventory Transactions, the Journal Entry's numbering series stops.
In that effect, no user can post any transactions that has Journal Entry implications like A/P Invoice, A/R Invoice, Incoming Payment etc.
Help me guys and I appreciate it alot.
They are using
SAP B1 8.82 PL 17
MS SQL 2008 R2
Hi!,
Actually, the number series is not full nor doesn't have period-related setup.
The scenario is this:
The problem arose everytime user creates Inventory Posting.
Any Idea guys? Thank you in advance

Hi Jack,
It is probaby caused by an automatic closing period in the posting period.
You must check it in the posting period. Your journal entry numbering maybe use the period indicator. The period indicator is a year and the posting period that using the period indicator is ctlosed

Go to Administration >>system initialization >> document Numbering >> Journal Entry>> click on to this and new one window will pop up. check here the last number of default series. I think the the same has been full.

Hi Jack,
If your default series get full you need to create new series and make it default.
